For most of the nearly 30 years that I have been an attorney, I have dedicated my practice to achieving one goal: helping my clients through divorce, custody disputes and other family crises.
I became a lawyer in 1987, and since 1989 I have focused exclusively in the area of divorce and family law. During that time, I have developed a reputation for results-focused representation, taking into account not only my clients' goals, but also their desire to preserve important family relationships and, often, minimize conflict. In an area of the law where many lawyers promote hostility and contention, I seek to cultivate consensus while still helping my clients protect their most important legal rights.
I believe it is essential to stay at the forefront of developments in the practice of family law. I am a member of Collaborative Practice of San Mateo County and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and in 2009 received the Eureka Award from Collaborative Practice California.
In addition to being peer review rated* AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, I have been named to the list of California Super Lawyers every year since 2006. To read more about my background and experience, simply click the link below.
